About the Project Management Institute Western Idaho Chapter

The Project Management Western Idaho Chapter is a 501(c)(6) organization that was officially chartered by the Project Management Institute on June 5, 1998, with 35 members. It has since grown to over 300 members.

The letter of intent to form a chapter was filed with the Project Management Institute by Barbara Malone in October 1997.  From October 1997 through April 1998, the organizating committee met to develop chapter Bylaws and create the charter application for submission to PMI.  Members of the organizing committee were Keith MacMillan, then instructor at ComputerLand; Barbara Malone, project controls manager at Boise Cascade; Chris Randolph, licensing and compliance officer at Idaho Power; Richard Fritzley, paper planning group at Boise Cascade; and H. Charles Anderson, owner of QBM Management.

Mission Statement
The PMI Western Idaho Chapter’s mission is to advance the practice and profession of Project Management. 

Vision Statement
The vision of the PMI Western Idaho Chapter is to be a recognized source of project management knowledge and expertise.
