Chapter raises awareness of PMIEF using only a suitcase, a printer, and dedicated chapter volunteers
The Western Idaho Chapter has created a “travelling road show” in a suitcase containing a tablecloth, informational display boards, and copies of PMIEF no-cost resources.  Chapter volunteers bring these materials to local educators by participating in local Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) events and conferences. The Chapter typically attends three local STEM events annually, including the annual Tech Expo and the Idaho iSTEM conferences.
As educators stop by the booth and leaf through the materials, chapter volunteers explain the PMIEF materials, and also promote PMI and the local chapter. “Many of the event attendees are not even aware of PMI, or the need for project management skills in the classroom,” observed PMIEF Liaison Nola Walker.
