Position Responsibilities and Objectives
We are seeking a Project Manager that desires to work in a challenging project environment and lead complex projects. The Project Manager will be responsible for working directly with project teams to initiate, plan, monitor, and execute the scope, schedule, resources, risk, communication and quality processes on corporate projects. The Project Manager will work with department leads to define, document and implement project processes. The scope of projects the Project Manager will be responsible for includes projects related directly to customer deliveries and projects associated with strategic initiatives as defined by the management team. The Project Manager will be responsible for the entire project lifecycle activities.
The Project Manager should possess a working knowledge of project administration and methodologies. The Project Manager should possess expertise in state-of-the-art production techniques including lean manufacturing, six Sigma, 5S and ISO quality standards. Additionally, expertise with a CNC production environment, inventory management, assembly, packaging and shipping of mechanical components are key to success in this position.
Education and Experience
BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
3 years of project management experience
PMP certification is not required, but is considered a plus.

Functional Outline
Ensure that all PM responsibilities are addressed, including developing and maintaining schedules, leading project status meetings, communicating project status and deviations in schedules to management and customers and take a significant role in Business
Operations
Manage project teams, milestones, and deadlines
Adapt and promote VersaBuilt culture
Develop and manage relationships with project sponsors, key stakeholders, project team members and department leaders
Manage PM Software (Wrike) including drafting and issuing project requests, workbooks, project workflow, milestones, deadlines, schedules and requests for proposals
Use project scheduling and control tools to monitor project plans and communicate project status reports to the teams, management and customers
Report any possible or current blockers, risks, overflows, deficits to appropriate individuals
Ensure internal clients’ needs are met in a timely and cost effective manner
Track and manage all project work scope variances
Ensure appropriate management and project sponsors receive proactive communication regarding changes to project scope, schedule and resources
Communicate ideas for improving PM and Operations’ processes and best practices
Employment Details
This position reports to the President. This is a salaried position. The hours are 9 am to 5 pm Monday – Friday.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit and stand. The employee is frequently required to walk; use hands and have finger dexterity; reach with hands and arms, talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Personal Protective Equipment is required including but not limited to gloves, safety glasses and hearing protection.
Compensation Summary
Salary: $35,000 to $70,000 / year Depending on Experience
