Primary Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and report progress throughout the project life cycle, using appropriate project planning and scheduling tools
  • Develop / generate / distribute project reports / documentation to applicable stakeholders (e.g., project status, metrics, outcomes, issues, risks, opportunities)
  • Provide subject matter expertise in areas including project scope definition, risk identification, project methodology, resource allocation, facilitation, and other areas of expertise based on established project management techniques
  • Make presentations to management on project updates, project cycle, and expected results
  • Create, control and improve end to end business processes
  • Lead process design and project implementation teams
  • Diagnose process improvement opportunities and develop solutions using principles of process excellence and related tools
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and in scope
  • Establish, develop and maintain effective relationships with applicable project stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Health Administration or related field or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of specific experience with documenting processes and practices, often in accepted project methodology, while effectively prioritizing multiple tasks, priorities, projects, and deadlines
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and SharePoint

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Employees in this position should be working towards or have achieved certification in project management
  • Experience in a healthcare setting
