It's time to vote
The nomination period is now closed, and your 2026 board candidates are ready for your vote. As a PMI Western Idaho Chapter member, your participation in this election helps shape the future of our chapter. Review the candidates below and cast your ballot.
How to vote
- You must be a current, active member of both PMI and PMIWIC to vote.
- Please log into your account to confirm your membership status before voting.
- Voting is open from April 1 to April 20, 2026.
- You will receive a custom ballot email to your PMI.org email address.
- Each member may vote once for each open position.
- Election results will be announced in May 2026.

Open positions
The following board positions are up for election in 2026. Each Vice President position is a two-year term (July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2028). The President Elect is a three-year commitment that progresses through President and Past President. View detailed role descriptions.
- VP of Programs: Arranges and oversees presentations at regular chapter events. Locates, books, and manages venues and speakers.
- VP of Membership: Addresses the needs of chapter membership, including service delivery, recruiting, and retaining members.
- VP of Finance: Manages the oversight and reporting of PMI Western Idaho Chapter funds.
- VP of Technology: Manages all aspects of chapter technology including acquisition, support, maintenance, data analytics, and technology governance.
- President Elect: Assists the President with chapter operations, co-chairs the annual Professional Development Day (PDD) committee, and provides PDD event oversight. Automatically succeeds to President in year two and Past President in year three.

Rachel Bertler Program strategy and operational execution leader Rachel leads a cross-functional portfolio of more than 100 initiatives, with expertise in program design, governance, planning, and risk management. She also serves on the Membership Engagement and Lifelong Learning committees at her synagogue and co-chairs its Young Jewish Adults programming. Rachel previously supported national patient education symposiums through event logistics, registration, and session coordination. |

Shailaja Tripathi, PMP Global PMO leader, Enterprise Applications at Micron Technology Shailaja brings 19 years of experience at Micron Technology, where she leads the Enterprise Applications PMO office and serves as the Global PMO leader. Her work in a large-scale organization has strengthened her skills in negotiation, strategic thinking, and cross-functional teamwork. She has also volunteered with Meals on Wheels, the Idaho Food Bank, and other local organizations. |

Amy Moon PMIWIC VP of Membership Pro Tem (January 2025 to present) Amy currently serves as VP of Membership Pro Tem for PMIWIC, supporting chapter leadership and member engagement. She brings strong relationship-building, conflict-resolution, and retention skills from her background in hospitality and small-business management. Amy also helps coordinate Idaho Food Bank events, Rake Up Boise, and chapter networking events to strengthen community connections. |

Daniel Youmans, PMP Mentorship Program Coordinator, PMIWIC | Adjunct Professor, Boise State University Daniel currently serves as the PMIWIC Mentorship Program Coordinator and mentors at least one person each cohort. He is a project and program manager with roughly two decades of experience spanning software and hardware integration to large-scale construction. Daniel also teaches the Project Plans course at Boise State University and serves on a City of Meridian sub-committee for Historical Preservation. He volunteers at PDD each year. |

Katrina Oksten, PMP Construction Project Manager Katrina brings strong financial and organizational skills from construction project management, including budgeting, forecasting, earned value reporting, contracts, and invoicing. She has volunteered as a Special Award Judge for the Future City competition with PMIWIC and as a PM Guest Mentor with ACE Mentor Idaho. Katrina views finance as strategy: connecting data to performance, improving processes, and supporting long-term stability and growth. |

Lalit Mangal, PMP Staff Engineer, NVM Product Quality at Micron Technology | EMBA candidate Lalit has 13 years of experience driving high-stakes product launches at Micron and HP, with strong governance, integrated scheduling, KPI dashboards, and disciplined risk management. He is an active PMI Global and PMIWIC volunteer, contributing to PMXPO 2026 and Global Summit proposal reviews, the PMP Prep Workbook pilot, and the PDD 2026 Keynote Committee. Lalit also serves as VP of Public Relations for his Toastmasters club and mentors underrepresented students through Braven.org. Also nominated for VP of Technology and President Elect. |

Dana Bowlin, PMP IT Director, renewable energy company | PMIWIC VP of Technology (2024 to present) Dana has served as PMIWIC's VP of Technology for the past two years and is seeking reelection. He currently works as IT Director for a renewable energy company based in Boise. Outside of PMI, Dana also coaches lacrosse with Treasure Valley Youth Lacrosse League. |

Benjamin Richard Williams, PMP Project Manager | Former PMIWIC VP of Membership and Volunteer Coordinator Benjamin previously served as VP of Membership and Volunteer Coordinator for PMIWIC (2019 to 2022), where he led membership growth, improved engagement strategies, and strengthened volunteer coordination. His healthcare background includes revenue cycle management, workflow optimization, and culture transformation. Benjamin also served in the Peace Corps in Fiji, leading health education initiatives, and is an Eagle Scout. He volunteers locally with Genesis World Missions, the Idaho Food Bank, and Idaho Youth Ranch. |
