The PMI Western Idaho Chapter (PMIWIC) offers a variety of virtual and in-person programs designed to meet the diverse needs of our members, including:

• Monthly Lunch-and-Learns: virtual or in-person
• Flagship: in-person events such as Professional Development Day
• Industry Networking: virtual or in-person

The success of our programs and events depends heavily on the quality and passion of our speakers. These sessions are attended by PMIWIC members, non-members, and guests—including recruiters, sponsors, and other professionals interested in project management and leadership. Each event provides a forum for participants to learn, share, and network with others to advance the profession.

PMIWIC is currently seeking dynamic individuals with expertise across project management and leadership disciplines to present at upcoming programs. As a speaker, you’ll have the opportunity to share your knowledge and experience with a diverse audience and help us create engaging, practical, and inspiring learning experiences.

Our programs cover a broad range of topics, including project management, business, leadership, agile, design thinking, power skills, communication, innovation, strategy, business acumen, technology, and industry-specific project management practices. If you are passionate about any of these areas and have a unique perspective to share, we’d love to hear from you.

Speaking at a PMIWIC event offers many benefits: you’ll showcase your expertise, expand your professional network, and gain visibility among local and regional professionals. We welcome speakers from all backgrounds and levels of experience, and we provide support and resources to help you prepare for your presentation.

Additional benefits of being a PMIWIC speaker include:

• Your event will be published on our website at least two weeks prior to the session.
• Your session will be promoted in our chapter newsletter and email communications.
• You’ll receive a complimentary meal at in-person events.
• Applicable PDUs will be awarded for your service.
