This year’s annual Career Panel will focus on helping our our members and nonmembers connect with experts in the project management field to build connections and grow their career. Panelists will speak to the many stages in a person’s career. From students, early career professionals, as well as individuals who are changing careers, or who are transitioning to leadership roles.

Meet the Panelists

Sakena Lesmeister, MBA, PMP

Sakena Lesmeister is a seasoned project manager with expertise in project management, strategy, change management, and training. Currently, she holds the position of IT Project Manager at the J.R. Simplot Company, with previous employment at Western States Equipment, Ada County Highway District, and Verizon. Sakena’s educational background includes an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Her professional credentials encompass a PMP and Six Sigma Green Belt Certification.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Sakena is deeply involved in her community, having served as the past president of Boise Centennial Rotary, DEI Chair for Rotary District 5400, and Membership Chair for Rotary District 5400. Additionally, she was a substitute in the 2022 and 2023 legislative sessions as an Idaho State Representative, a Go Lead Idaho past board director, and Leadership Boise Alumni class of 2021-2023.

Meg Dubois

An Idaho native, and proud University of Idaho Alumni, Meg DuBois is a Sr Client Solutions Manager for Experis. 

Meg partners with organizations across Idaho, Utah, Montana, and the Dakotas to strategize solutions within IT, Engineering and Finance, through project based services or traditional staff aug, and often times a combination of both.  

Meg has earned a strong reputation within the technology services industry for strategizing and implementing successful IT solutions and keeping her partners at the forefront of that solution. It is her philosophy that the key to a successful partnership and an organization’s ability to scale and grow is identifying the right combination of qualified, motivated, and talented individuals to inspire and support clients to achieve mutual business success.

Savana Maxon

Savana Maxon is a leader and entrepreneur with a proven track record of driving growth and success. As Head of Operations at Lucro Consulting and Founder of Sonder Operations, she is passionate about empowering individuals and businesses.
