Board elections are open, PDD 2026 registration is live, and February events are ready for you.
PMIWIC chapter update
Busy start to the new year: PDD registration open, elections, and ways to get involved.

It’s a busy start to 2026—in the best way. This month, we’re opening nominations for the 2026 Board of Directors, and registration for Professional Development Day is officially live. You’ll also find February events and a volunteer opportunity that make it easy to learn, connect, and give back.

2026 PMIWIC board elections

Our chapter moves forward because Project Professionals step up to lead. Nominations are now open for the 2026 PMI Western Idaho Chapter Board of Directors, and we’d love to see you consider serving.

Any active PMIWIC member may run for the board. As a board volunteer, you’ll earn PDUs, build leadership experience, and help shape the future of our local project management community.

Available 2026 board positions: VP of Programs, VP of Membership, VP of Finance, VP of Technology, President Elect

Vice President roles are two-year terms. One candidate per position will be elected by a majority vote of current chapter members.

Ready to step forward? To submit a nomination, you must be a current member of PMI and PMIWIC. Please log in first to confirm your membership, then complete the form.

February lunch-and-learn: capital projects that deliver real business results

Tuesday, February 11, 2026 | 12:00–1:00 PM MST

There’s more to success than startup. In this session, Mike DeLong shares how capital project teams can move beyond traditional success metrics to achieve real business performance after startup. Drawing on food manufacturing examples, he’ll show how operational readiness—embedded in design, execution, and commissioning—can shorten ramp-up time, reduce risk, and accelerate ROI.
