“The letter of intent to form a chapter was filed with the Project Management Institute by Barbara Malone in October 1997. From October 1997 through April 1998, the organizating committee met to develop chapter Bylaws and create the charter application for submission to PMI. Members of the organizing committee were Keith MacMillan, then instructor at ComputerLand; Barbara Malone, project controls manager at Boise Cascade; Chris Randolph, licensing and compliance officer at Idaho Power; Richard Fritzley, paper planning group at Boise Cascade; and H. Charles Anderson, owner of QBM Management.”
