No, Just No! Using Proactive and Purposeful No's to Protect and Prioritize Things that Matter Most

Have you ever felt tension between what you felt you should do and what someone was pressuring you to do? Have you ever said "yes" when you meant "no" simply to avoid conflict or friction? So much of our daily stress is a consequence of our inability to say no. This is not a skill we learn at school, or a practice commonly celebrated in the workplace. This workshop will provide you with tools and practice to say yes to yourself by saying no to others.

Understand your Project Management Tech Quotient (PMTQ)

Between 2019 and 2024, data from various industry surveys show organizations wasting almost 12% of their investment in project spend due to poor performance - a number that's barely budgeted during that 5-year period. Furth indications of these inefficiencies come from data presented by the PMI and Forbes Insights' The C-Suite Outlook which show that while nearly 80% of organizations have undergone a significant transformation using disruptive technology, only about 25% of those initiatives have yielded tangible benefits realized against their original goals.

A root cause of this inefficiency is a lack of people's Technology Quotient (TQ), or their ability to adapt, manage and integrate technology based on the needs of the organization or the project at hand. When the concept of TQ is overlaid with project management methodologies and self-reflection, a new model of Project Management Technology Quotient (PMTQ) is created.
