BSU Campus Food Pantry 

We have the great honor to help support the BSU Campus Food Pantry this year.  If you don't know much about the food pantry we would love provide a bit of information about it and how you can support them at PDD.

Their Story

  • The Campus Food Pantry at Boise State University originated from a student-led effort championed by the Associated Students of Boise State University (ASBSU). Since its founding on January 28, 2018, the Pantry has quickly expanded in response to heightened awareness and the growing need for resources.
  • Our team is committed to alleviating food insecurity on campus by providing all students with reliable access to nourishing food. We advocate for food equity within our community, use sustainable practices to minimize food waste, and create impactful service opportunities for our campus and community.
 

How to Help at PDD

  • Bring Food Donations to PDD to place in food donation bins. 
    • Last year we collected 100lbs of donations, let's see if we can do more this time!
    • Their collection theme is peanut butter, alternative spreads and jelly/jam. 
    • The following items that they cannot accept include
      • Expired Food
      • Damaged Items
      • Unlabeled or Homemade Food
      • Medication
